The Baseline Group is an interdisciplinary collective of student artists and faculty at the University of Colorado in Boulder. The group focuses on developing and realizing community and site-based art projects. During the spring and summer terms 2011, The Baseline Group will be working in Yuma County, Colorado.

1. Beetle Kill Pine or other local, sustainably harvested wood. If beetle kill, then left "natural" so the wood colors show through; otherwise, painted probably.
ReplyDelete2. I like the palette idea but am not sure how best to use them. As a structural element then covered by some kind of "skin?"
3. Doors, cabinets and drawers from Resource. Drawers and cabinets make excellent nest boxes.
4. Using things like the aluminum tubes from Resource and then flattening them out to use for roof, siding etc
5. Trailer and/ or automobile parts. An airstream coop would be peachy. Something like Andrea Zittel's escape pods, but for chickens.
